I would put Base Gotenks around 4x Goku after ROSAT, not 117x stronger than Goku You may find it hard to believe, but one look in the Boo saga with either the manga or Herms' translations will show you Base Gotenks (Post) blows SSJ3 Goku (Boo saga) out of the water. Ssj gotenks pre isn't stronger than goku ssj3, and nether is base gotenks post, with that said goku surpasses him in ssj3 after 10 years.

First off goku said someone stronger than him would be coming to fight buu too buu, he was just telling him to get him exited, you know how goku was all saying how it's their turn and all that when he was talking to to piccolo, yes mabye he is stronger than what goku displayed while fighting fat buu but he never actually showed us his full power going by what he said about his full power being enough to kill kid buu The way I see gokus power is like this Goku ssj3 full power>goku ssj3 fighting kid buu>goku ssj3 fat buu fight At the start he only displayed some of his power And for base gotenks post>ssj gotenks pre, well, just from what piccolo said isn't really a good enough reason to say this, he could have just as easily been implying that mabye if they can refuse or somthing as ssj they might Actually be able to win, considering the huge gain they made,

If SSJ 3 Goku could beat Majin Buu and if SSJ 3 Goku could also maybe beat Super Buu (as stated while inside buu) then SSJ3 Goku is pretty strong.. Now if Post base Gotenks is stronger than SSJ 3 Goku then SSJ 1 Gotenks would be 50x stronger than SSJ 3 Goku which is false because if we compare with the dimension hole Super Buu created in the hyperbolic time chamber then we can draw to a conclusion that Gotenks wasnt as strong as Super Buu because he couldnt create such hole.. on the other hand, SSJ 3 Gotenks who is 40x stronger than SSJ 1 Gotenks could create a slightly bigger hole than even Super Buu. This topic is hard to find, forgot where this argument was :P Anyway, yeah, i kinda forgot that Goku said that they cant beat him, guess it was opposite of what i thought, my bad..
